Bentley supports ongoing self-directed education and training of its staff through a generous tuition training reimbursement program. In addition, the company holds periodic on-site training for technical and sales personnel, using outside or internal experts. Bentley employees attend vendor software language classes such as Oracle training on a regular basis. Bentley Systems also has an in-house university that provides extensive training in Bentley products.
All full-time employees who have completed six months of service and are on the active payroll in good standing with a satisfactory work record through the completion of each course will be eligible for tuition reimbursement.
Tuition reimbursement will be provided for any level individual courses or programs deemed appropriate. The courses may also be part of a licensing and/or certification program that is related to the employees current job duties or a foreseeable/future position. Tests that must be taken for certification are not covered under this policy.

Recruiting
Bentley uses a wide range of effective recruiting methods to maintain and augment its professional staff. Although traditional methods such as newspaper and periodical advertisements, job fairs, and staffing agencies are sometimes used, Bentley has focused on web-based recruiting over the past two years, with increasing success. The company subscribes to several web-based services and Internet job boards and has a staff devoted to posting positions, searching rTsumT databases, evaluating rTsumTs, and screening applicants.
Bentley Career Network is a free on-line service that includes a list of participating companies/industries and schools using Bentley products. The listings include pertinent contact information for employment and recruitment opportunities provided by participating members.
In addition, the TMC Job Connection is the MicroStation Community web sites online employment section., allowing the publication of MicroStation-related job postings around the world.
The company actively recruits top graduates from universities and engineering programs, and usually has a strong recruiting presence at industry trade shows. Finally, a generous employee referral program leads to a large number of qualified candidates. Bentley uses online testing to screen applicants for software development roles.
